Conservation

For many reasons much of the original medieval figurative glass in our ecclesiastical buildings and ancient houses has been lost, making the protection of what remains of great importance. Our department has an ICON accredited conservator who is able to carry out all aspects of conservation works on glass of this age including working with the parish, architect and conservation bodies to provide condition reports, advice and methods of conservation and protection.

Also shown here is some of our work on Victorian glass.
